Abstract
Background and Objectives: This article was conducted with the aim of investigating the range of communication approaches of teachers and students with hearing impairment.Methods: For this purpose, articles published in English and Farsi in Google Scholar, Science Direct, Elsevier, EBSCO and Springer databases for English articles and in ISC, SID and IranDoc databases for Farsi articles. were used and it was done by phenomenological method. Findings: The results showed that communication approaches based on strengthening language and social skills have a positive effect on the quality of learning and social interactions of students with hearing loss. In addition, specialized approaches such as the use of sign language, sound amplification systems and new technologies play an important role in improving the daily interactions of these students. Also, these approaches help to strengthen students' self-confidence and self-efficacy in the learning process and develop their communication skills. In general, this research showed that choosing the appropriate approach should be based on the specific needs of students and their individual characteristics. It is suggested that education professionals use a suitable combination of these approaches, taking into account the demographic characteristics and educational needs of each student. These interventions are especially necessary for students who need special support in communication and language skills. Conclusion: This research can be used as a scientific basis for designing and developing educational and therapeutic programs for students with hearing impairment, as well as improving their social interactions and communication with the people around them (parents and teachers).
